We used a log to hold down the scrap wood covering a planter box to keep out the light and stop weeds from growing next Spring…(yes, run on sentence…on purpose of course! 😉 )
Birds thought it was a seat for them.
Back on Mother’s Day, Farm friend Shaila brought out Honorary Farm Dog Sabrina to meet and greet the piggies.
Here’s pictures from their visit…
Finally, after running together for more than half an hour, the piggies were tired, Sabrina was muddy and tired, and it was time to head up to the house to relax on the deck. 🙂 Sabrina had one fine story to share with sister Poppy when she got home!
One last picture to share…it’s not great, composition wise, but I love the face…
People often say “Dance like no one is watching…”
Well, that’s what our Ruby Girl did the other day.
After some pawing in a giant puddle, splashing muddy water all over herself, she proceeded to a muddy spot, rolled and kicked up her heels.
She danced like no one was watching…only, there I was, with my camera. Enjoying every second of her glee. 🙂
“DANCE! shake it up ooooh ahhhh
Come on baby DANCE! shake it up ooooh ahhhh
Come on girl DANCE! shake it up ooooh ahhhh
Lyrics from Queen City Kids “Dance!”
Hello there, Daisy Mae here.
Or Weazy as Mom likes to call me. She says it’s short for “Weasel”, which is either a small carnivorous animal or a way of getting into things. I think she means it in the getting into things way, but I’m not sure.
I’m here to tell you about my favorite toy in the whole wide world. Even better than that stupid paper bag Nancy had. Mom calls them “zip ties” and she uses them to tie the dog’s house door shut.
I’ve learned that when they cut the ties off the dog’s house, they put them on top the house and forget about them. I like to steal the zip ties when no one is looking and play with them.
Nancy’s always trying to steal them from me. Grrrr! I tell him to go sit in his stupid cat bag that he won’t share with me.
Yesterday, Mom took some pictures of me…WITHOUT MY PERMISSION, I might add!!!…while I was playing with my zip tie.
