About Midnight Calico Farm

© Midnight Calico Farm & WolfSong

Midnight Calico Farm is a small farm in rural MB, where the people are the staff of 4 Rescue horses, a clowder of barn cats, 2 indoor spoiled rotten cats, and a dog from Nunavut. We believe our animals should have the very best care possible, while they believe we should wait on them hand and foot…or hoof, in some cases.

Midnight Calico Farm is all about self sufficiency. We grow as much of our food as possible, and buy locally what we can’t.
We are working on a line of greeting cards featuring the animals on our farm. The purchase of these cards will help support our expansion plans…a barn for the horses, fencing for larger pastures, and the addition of bison.

Most of the photos in the greeting card line are taken on our farm, of our own animals. Even though they see us as staff, really, they work for us.

Greetings from another horse waiter in California! 🙂

  2. Is MB Manitoba? How far from Winnipeg?

Hi, nice to meet you. It is very nice to read about your farm. We went to Ontario two years ago on vacation. My husband loves Canada and farms very much. He would like to work on a Canadian farm but last year the covid ruined our plans. However, I am hopeful about his dream.
I wanted to ask you if you have a link to the site where you sell your postcards, so I write a post about the farms and put it on. Also, if you know other users with Canadian farms, I’d love to meet them and post with you all together. Thank you. A big hug and greetings from Italy.
