First Images of 2019

I don’t do New Year’s resolutions.
Resolutions are, in my opinion, little lies we tell ourselves with the idea that we *might* do things better in the future.
I don’t have time for that.
I just do better when I can…and when I can’t I work to do better anyways.
Sometimes I make it, sometimes I fail.

That said, I did say I’m going to try to post more often.
Try not to get sick of me, ‘kay?

Today was a gorgeous day. Above zero, which is wild and welcome in January in Canada!
So out with the camera I went.
With my trusty Helper, we were able to capture this adorable sight…

Sable does not look impressed.

And then, Trouble decided he wanted in on the action…

“You. Owe. Me. Cookies.”

Oh, how I love the look on her face!
She’ll be thankful for the cookies she’ll get later.

Those are wonderful photos, well, for two of them. Way to go Sable, you earned your treat! Thanks for joining the Thankful Thursday Blog Hop!

  2. What wonderful photos! I don’t think my Tribe of Five would get anywhere near a horse but they are spoiled inside cats so that’s to be expected.

Those are sweet pictures. When we adopted my MIL’s outdoor cats after she died, they used to sleep snuggled up to one of my horses in the stable during the winter

Agreed on the resolutions thing. And such great pictures! Whenever my cats (or horses for that matter) do anything cute and photo-worthy, they immediately stop and run off when they see me point my camera or phone….

Her mane says it all! She’s a good sport, sweet one she is.
