Our girls will never purposely be bred. We will do all we can, as responsible horse owners, to prevent “accidents” as well.
I will not, knowingly, bring a foal into this world. Especially considering where our girls came from, and where they could have gone.
That said, when the stable where Kid takes lessons got a couple of foals in as boarders, that meant I *had* to squee over the cuteness of babies! And take a few pictures. 🙂
This shy little fellow is Kingston. Poor guy was so nervous and scared, he spent most of the time we were there with his nose to the wall. He did relax enough to sniff my hand, and finally decided he needed a drink…
Little cutie pie is just about 10 months old. 🙂
This little dolly is Queenie. Yup, Kingston and Queenie. LOL! Names like that, their owners are going to have their work cut out for them!
Queenie was nowhere near as nervous as Kingston, and, as you can tell, has a bit of an attitude. She’s also in the 10 month age range…she’s going to be a big, strong girl!
I hope these two stay at the stable for a long time…I’m going to enjoy watching them grow up…and taking pictures of them through out that time.
